The Inspiration

During a job, a client gifted Don an antique rack from a speakeasy during the Prohibition era. The
rack could hold various-sized bottles next to one another and store wood cases and boxes. The
rack's versatility gave Don an epiphany. From this original design, the Cellarium horizontal wine
rack was born.

The Redesign & Result

Don straightened the center lines and raised the shelf height to fit a standard Bordeaux case. The result was a rack that could handle any size bottle, case or box. This updated design provided many new features that added to the rack's versatility.
